Mobile RV service on the Eastside

Bellevue and the Eastside are a tough place to own an RV. HOA rules and tight lots mean most rigs live in storage facilities along I-90 and I-405, and towing a 35-foot fifth wheel through Eastside traffic to a dealer bay, then waiting weeks for it, is nobody’s idea of a good Saturday. We come to the storage lot or RV park instead.

If you searched for mobile RV repair near me in Bellevue, we handle leaks, fridges, generators that won’t start, batteries that die in storage, furnaces and water heaters, and the bigger upgrades: lithium, solar and Victron systems, plus Starlink, Peplink and weBoost for people who work from the road.

United Mobile RV LLC is dealership-trained, 11+ years: a Victron Energy Certified Installer, a weBoost Certified Installer/Reseller, a Dometic Professional and a Peplink Certified Associate.

RV parks near Bellevue

We’re not affiliated with any of these parks. They’re places local RVers stay, and we’ll meet you at your site where the park allows outside technicians:

  • Trailer Inns RV Park: 15531 SE 37th Street in Bellevue, right off I-90 near Eastgate.
  • Issaquah Village RV Park: in Issaquah, with roughly 56 to 58 full-hookup sites and 20, 30 and 50-amp service.
  • Blue Sky RV Park: in Preston, east on I-90, with full hookups; there’s no public dump station.
  • Lake Pleasant RV Park: in Bothell, at the north end of I-405.
  • Storage facilities: along I-90, I-405 and SR-520, where most Eastside rigs actually live.

Many Eastside trips start with the climb over Snoqualmie Pass on I-90. A pre-trip check of brakes, tires and the generator is worth it before that grade.

RV life on the Eastside: storage, rain and the I-90 climb

Most Eastside rigs sit in storage for weeks or months between trips, and that’s where the problems start. Batteries go flat from small parasitic draws, mice move in, tires flat-spot, and generators varnish up on stale fuel. The first trip of the year is when everything that broke quietly over winter shows up.

The wet season, roughly October through May, finds every tired seam on a roof parked outside. Water creeps in around vents, the AC and clearance lights, and by the time a stain shows on the ceiling it has been leaking a while. A fall roof check is the cheapest repair you’ll ever buy.

Winters are usually mild, but a few hard freezes or a multi-day arctic outbreak will split lines in a rig that wasn’t winterized. Storage-lot rigs without power are the most exposed.

Snoqualmie Pass is the gateway to eastern Washington. A long grade up, a long grade down and occasional chain requirements in winter put real load on brakes, tires and cooling systems.

RV repairs we do most on the Eastside

The calls we get most from Bellevue and the Eastside, with a short explanation of each:

  • 12V and shore power faults. In storage, a battery disconnect that doesn’t actually disconnect everything is one of the most common reasons a rig is dead on the first trip. We trace dead outlets, tripping GFCIs, burnt shore power plugs, converters that stopped charging and parasitic draws that flatten batteries in storage. See RV electrical.
  • Water leaks, soft floors and delamination. West of the Cascades, water is the number one enemy of an RV. Failed sealant around roof vents, the AC, clearance lights and window frames lets water into the walls, and by the time you see a stain or a soft spot it has been leaking a while. We trace leaks, reseal, and use thermal imaging and moisture readings to map how far the damage goes. Storage-lot rigs often go months without anyone on the roof, so we check every vent, seam and the AC gasket. See roof and seals.
  • Refrigerators. Absorption fridges that cool on propane but not electric (or the reverse), fridges that won’t light, cooling-unit failures, and residential fridges that shut off because the inverter or batteries can’t keep up. As a Dometic Professional we work on Dometic units every week, and we troubleshoot Norcold and residential fridges too. A fridge that won’t cool on the first trip of the year is often a blocked burner, a failed igniter or a board problem. See our Dometic fridge guide and electrical and appliance repair.
  • Generator service and repair. We service and repair Onan, Generac and Kohler RV generators: oil, filters and plugs, plus surging, no-start and shut-down-under-load problems. Gas units that sit for months often surge because old fuel varnishes the carburetor; running the generator under load about once a month helps. Generators in storage benefit most from a monthly run under load; if that hasn’t happened, plan on a carburetor cleaning. See generator service.
  • Victron, lithium and solar. As a Victron Energy Certified Installer we install and service MultiPlus inverter/chargers, SmartShunt monitors, Cerbo GX and VRM monitoring, DC-DC charging and solar. For rigs in storage, a SmartShunt and Cerbo GX let you check battery health from home before you drive to the lot. See Victron systems.
  • LP gas, furnace and water heater. Furnaces that click but won’t light, water heaters that fault out, regulators that freeze up or leak, and LP detectors past their date. We leak-test and pressure-check before we call anything fixed. Furnaces and water heaters that sat all summer often need a cleaning and an igniter check before the first cold trip. See LP gas.
  • Starlink, Peplink and weBoost. Mounting and powering Starlink, Peplink routers that fail over between Starlink and cellular, and weBoost boosters for weak signal. Remote workers on the Eastside often want Starlink plus a Peplink router so they can work from the road with failover. See connectivity.

How a mobile visit works

  1. Call, text or book online with the year, make and model, what the rig is doing, and where it’s parked on the Eastside. Photos or a short video help.
  2. We ask a few questions first. Some problems are a setting or a tripped breaker, and we’ll tell you if a remote session can sort it out without a trip.
  3. If we need to come out, we set a day and a time window. Let the park office or storage facility know an outside technician is coming.
  4. On site we test before we replace: meter readings, load tests, and thermal imaging where it helps. You get a plain explanation and a quote before any repair starts.
  5. Most repairs are finished on the same visit. If a part has to be ordered, we tell you what and how long, then come back to finish.

Bellevue RV repair FAQ

Can you work on my RV at a storage facility?

Yes, if the facility allows outside technicians. Many Eastside facilities do during business hours. Send the facility name, unit or row number and gate code.

My HOA doesn’t allow RVs in the driveway. Can you still help?

Yes. Most of our Eastside work is at storage lots and RV parks for exactly that reason.

My batteries are dead every time I pick up the rig. Why?

Usually a parasitic draw such as an LP detector, stereo memory or inverter, combined with a disconnect that doesn’t isolate everything. We find the draw and set up a charger, solar or a proper disconnect.

Will you come to Trailer Inns or Issaquah Village RV Park?

Yes, where the park allows outside technicians. Send your site number and let the office know we’re coming.

Can you check my rig before a Snoqualmie Pass trip?

Yes. Brakes, tires, lights, breakaway switch, LP system and the generator under load. Trip prep and safety check is a flat rate on our pricing page.
