Two ways we help, wherever you’re parked.
Book a live session and we’ll walk your system with you, then leave you with a clear fix plan. Prefer ongoing watch? We adopt any Victron build on VRM for remote monitoring, even if we didn’t install it.

Remote sessions
How we connect
We connect with the right tool for your gear, and for a one-off session we’ll text you which one we’ll use. On your computer, nothing happens until you click Allow, and nothing gets installed without your OK. We only ever ask for a one-time session code, never your passwords or PINs.
Managed & Fleet plans
United Mobile RV Connect
Our own secure remote tool for Windows computers. Mac, Android and Raspberry Pi: after testing, so ask us first. You click Allow before we can see your screen, and a bar shows while we’re connected. It’s what we use for Managed and Fleet plans. You can remove it anytime (it shows as Mesh Agent in your apps list).
Setup steps are on our remote setup page.
Free with a Google account
Chrome Remote Desktop
Free. It needs a free Google account (Gmail works) and installs a small helper the first time. You share a one-time session code with us, never a password, and when the session ends, our access ends with it.
Only if we ask
TeamViewer
We use it only when the other tools won’t work. You read us the ID and the one-time session code it shows. No need to learn anything new.
Phones & tablets
Zoom or FaceTime
For phones and tablets, and for pointing the camera at your panel, wiring or gear so we can see what you see. On a Mac, we use FaceTime or Zoom screen share until Mac testing is done.
Peplink routers
Peplink InControl2
In InControl2 (Peplink’s online dashboard for your router), you add us to your router. You can remove us anytime.
Victron systems
Victron VRM
In VRM (Victron’s free monitoring site), you add us as a user at the access level we ask for (read-only for Watch) so we can see your 12/24/48V system. You stay in charge and can remove us anytime.
Secure connection
Routers & remote-access boxes
For GL.iNet travel routers and our remote-access box. We set up a secure connection with you on a call, and you can turn it off anytime. You type any passwords yourself, on your screen. Never send them to us.
You’re in charge
Pause or remove access anytime
On your computer, nothing happens until you click Allow, and you can end the session any time. For remote-access boxes on Managed and Fleet plans, which can’t show a prompt, we text you before every session and wait for your reply. Text “pause” and we pause our access within 4 hours during the day, or the same evening if you text late. While paused, your computer still asks before anything happens, and a remote-access box can’t be reached at all. Text “resume” to turn access back on. You can revoke access anytime: disconnect, uninstall, or tell us to remove our access and we’ll do it. Every United Mobile RV Connect session is logged.
Pick your watch level
Watch
Works out to about $16/mo
per coach · billed yearly at checkout; renews each year
Eyes on the portal when you’re not looking. Alarms get reviewed; you get a plain-language text.
- VRM adopted — installer-independent
- Material alarm review (same business day)
- Text you what happened & what to do
- Short written notes after material weeks
Managed
Works out to about $41/mo
per coach · billed yearly at checkout; renews each year
Watch plus proactive care — health audits, firmware planning, and a week-one onboarding pass.
- Everything in Watch
- Priority review window for alarms
- Quarterly written health audits
- Firmware planning + safe OTA
- Week-1 onboarding audit included
Fleet
Works out to about $83/mo
per coach · billed yearly at checkout; renews each year
Managed depth with coordination across every coach you park or rent.
- Everything in Managed
- Coordinated reviews across fleet portals
- Fleet-level questions on direct line
- Higher-touch support for rental and family fleets
Winter storage monitoring
While the rig sits, we watch your VRM portal. Material alarms get a same-business-day review and a text with what happened and what to do.
What we watch for
A dead 280Ah lithium battery ≈ $490. A MultiPlus-II ≈ $1,400. Watch monitoring starts at $190/yr.
- Charging lithium in freezing temps
- Bank sitting at 0% in storage
- Solar controller that stopped producing
- Cells drifting out of balance
How an alarm works
1. Alarm fires
VRM raises a material alert on the linked system.
2. We review it in VRM
Usually the same business day — portal review, not a guess.
3. You get a text
What happened and what we changed, or what you need to do.
Victron sends the alarm. We review it and text you what it means — and what to do.
Real coach data
GX display, AC event log, and remote current trace.
Material weeks end with a short written note. Managed and Fleet add periodic audits. Below: a live coach on the GX, the Silverleaf AC history, and a DC current trace we read remotely.
On boardVictron GX on the coach.
Event logSilverleaf AC history — shore drops, transfers, generator starts.
Remote viewDC current trace — inrush spikes and steady load.
Requires a Victron GX (Cerbo GX or equivalent) online on VRM. Don’t have one? We can install it.
Need to invite us on VRM? We’ll text a link with the steps.
Monitoring FAQ
Which plan?
Watch ($190/yr) works out to about $16/mo: alarms and visibility. Managed ($490/yr) works out to about $41/mo: priority review, quarterly health audits, firmware planning and a week-1 onboarding audit. Fleet ($990/yr per coach) works out to about $83/mo per coach: multi-coach or higher-touch operations.
Is monitoring the same as a remote session?
No. One-off remotes (Quick Remote Triage, VRM Remote, Deep Dive and the rest) are advisory sessions: you pay at Square checkout, we text you within one business day to set your time, then we diagnose live and send you written next steps. Monitoring is a yearly plan: we watch the portal, review material alarms, and change settings only with your consent. Both follow our remote terms, and the service agreement for your session or plan is yours on request. Just text or call (616) 606-5277 and ask us for a copy.
Who qualifies?
A Victron GX device (Cerbo GX or equivalent) online on VRM. We can adopt the portal even if we did not install the gear. No GX yet? Text or call (616) 606-5277.
When do I pay?
Plans are billed yearly at checkout and renew each year. One-off sessions: pay at Square checkout. We text you within one business day to set your time. Questions? Text or call (616) 606-5277, or email [email protected].
