Mobile RV Repair in Wenatchee, Leavenworth and Lake Chelan, WA

North Central Washington is RV country. People spend summer weeks at Lake Chelan, bring the trailer to Leavenworth for the festivals, and set up at the riverfront state parks in Wenatchee. United Mobile RV comes to your campsite, RV park or driveway in Wenatchee, East Wenatchee, Cashmere, Leavenworth, Chelan and Manson.

Summer heat means AC and battery problems, so that’s a lot of what we do here. We also handle Victron, solar and lithium, Starlink and Peplink, shore power faults and appliance diagnostics.

Campgrounds and RV parks we visit

We’re not affiliated with any of these parks. They’re just where a lot of North Central Washington RVers stay:

  • Wenatchee Confluence State Park, where the Wenatchee River meets the Columbia. It has full-hookup sites for rigs up to 65 feet, with limited availability, and is open year-round. Water may be off in winter.
  • Lincoln Rock State Park, north of East Wenatchee on US-2/97, with full-hookup and partial-hookup sites and a 65-foot maximum length.
  • Leavenworth/Pine Village KOA, with 50-amp full-hookup sites for rigs up to 65 feet.
  • Icicle River RV Resort, a few miles outside Leavenworth, with full hookups. Its listed RV limit is 40 feet.
  • Lake Chelan State Park on the south shore of the lake, with full-hookup sites.
  • Lakeshore RV Park, the City of Chelan’s lakefront park, with full-hookup sites.

Leavenworth doesn’t allow overnight RV parking on city streets, so plan on a park or campground. Send us the park name and site number and we’ll find you.

What we work on here

  • AC and heat. Summer days in the Wenatchee Valley are hot and dry. We diagnose roof AC units, capacitors and soft-start issues, and check whether your shore power or inverter can actually carry the load.
  • Pedestal and shore power trouble. When a full campground runs every AC at once, voltage can sag. We test the cord, transfer switch and converter, and an EMS protects the coach from low voltage. See our surge protector and EMS guide.
  • Solar and lithium. The east side gets real sun, so solar pays off here. We size panels, lithium and Victron gear for boondocking and for running the fridge and fans off-grid. See Victron systems.
  • Cold-weather lithium. Leavenworth and the upper valleys get real winter. LiFePO4 needs low-temperature charge protection and heat if you camp in freezing weather.
  • Starlink and Peplink. Signal fades up the Icicle, around Lake Wenatchee and along parts of the lake. We set up Starlink, weBoost and Peplink routers. See connectivity.
  • 12V and appliance diagnostics. Furnaces, fridges, water heaters, pumps and slides, diagnosed at your site. See RV electrical.

Seasonal notes

Summer is peak season at the lake and on the river, and wildfire smoke can roll in some summers. Check air quality and road closures before you travel. Leavenworth stays busy in fall, and its Village of Lights runs through the winter. Winter brings snow and cold to the upper valley. If you’re wintering here, plan for battery heat, freeze-safe water lines and propane furnace checks.

While you’re in the area

  • Ohme Gardens, a hillside garden above Wenatchee with Columbia River views, open mid-April to mid-October.
  • The Apple Capital Recreation Loop Trail, a 10-mile paved loop along both sides of the Columbia in Wenatchee and East Wenatchee.
  • Leavenworth’s Bavarian-style downtown and its year-round festivals.

Pricing

On-site diagnostic visit: $175. Labor: $150/hr. The $175 diagnostic is a standalone fee for on-site troubleshooting. Every visit has a minimum: one hour of labor ($150) or the $175 diagnostic, depending on the job. $75 trip fee within 50 miles. Over 50 miles, $2.00/mile both ways. Parts and supplies vary per job. You’ll get a quote before any repair work starts. The details are on our pricing page.

Help before we get there

Not sure it needs a visit? Start with remote support. A video call or a look at your Victron VRM data often pinpoints the problem, and if we do come out, we bring the right parts the first time.

Frequently asked questions

My AC can’t keep up in the afternoon. Is it broken?

Not always. Low pedestal voltage, a weak capacitor, dirty coils or an undersized power setup can all make an AC struggle on a hot afternoon. We measure voltage and amperage under load to find out which one it is.

Can you run my AC on batteries?

With enough lithium and the right Victron inverter, yes, at least for a few hours. We’ll size it honestly, including how much solar or generator time you’d need to recharge.

Do you come to Lake Chelan State Park and the KOA?

Yes. Send us your park and site number. Some parks like a heads-up when an outside technician is coming, so mention it at the office.

Do you work in Leavenworth in winter?

Yes, weather permitting. Snow can move the schedule, so we confirm the day before.

Do you also cover Stevens Pass and the drive toward Spokane?

Yes. Those are on our US-2 corridor route days. See the US-2 page for details.
