US-2 crosses Washington the scenic way: from Everett and Monroe up the Skykomish River over Stevens Pass, down through Leavenworth, Cashmere and Wenatchee, then across the Waterville Plateau and the wheat country past Coulee City and Davenport to Spokane. A lot of RVers drive it every summer, and it’s a long way between towns with RV service. United Mobile RV works the whole corridor and comes to your campsite, RV park or driveway.
We focus on power and connectivity: Victron, solar and lithium, Starlink and Peplink. We also do 12V and shore power diagnostics and appliance troubleshooting when something on the rig gives out partway across the state.
United Mobile RV LLC is dealership-trained, 11+ years: a Victron Energy Certified Installer, a weBoost Certified Installer/Reseller, a Dometic Professional, and a Peplink Certified Associate.

Where we work along US-2
West side: Everett to Stevens Pass
Everett, Snohomish and Monroe at the west end, then Sultan, Startup, Gold Bar, Index and Skykomish as the highway climbs along the Skykomish River to Stevens Pass. The west end overlaps our Everett page and the Seattle and Puget Sound hub.
Monroe and the Sky Valley have their own page: mobile RV repair in Monroe, Sultan, Gold Bar and Index.
Leavenworth, Cashmere and Wenatchee
East of the pass, US-2 drops through Tumwater Canyon into Leavenworth, then follows the Wenatchee River past Peshastin, Dryden and Cashmere to Wenatchee. This stretch has its own page: Wenatchee, Leavenworth and Lake Chelan.
East side: Waterville to Spokane
From Wenatchee the highway climbs onto the Waterville Plateau. Waterville, the Douglas County seat, is the highest incorporated town in Washington. From there US-2 runs east through Coulee City, Wilbur, Creston and Davenport to Spokane. At the east end it meets our Spokane hub.
It’s a long corridor, so we group calls into west, central and east route days. Text your location and travel plans and we’ll find a day and place that fits.

Campgrounds and RV parks along the way
We’re not affiliated with any of these. They’re common stops along US-2, and we’ll meet you at your site:
- Evergreen State Fairgrounds RV park, Monroe. Water and 30-amp electric for rigs up to 42 feet. Reservations run April through October, and it’s winterized November through March.
- Money Creek Campground, a Forest Service campground near Skykomish with no hookups. Most sites fit RVs up to about 30 feet, and a couple fit 40.
- Leavenworth/Pine Village KOA and Icicle River RV Resort near Leavenworth, both with full hookups.
- Wenatchee Confluence State Park and Lincoln Rock State Park at Wenatchee, both with full-hookup sites.
- Sun Lakes-Dry Falls State Park near Coulee City, with full-hookup sites next to the private Sun Lakes Park Resort.
- NCW Fair RV Park in Waterville, across from the Douglas County Fairgrounds. Hookup sites are open Memorial Day through early October.
- Two Rivers RV & Marina Resort, north of Davenport on Lake Roosevelt, with full hookups.
What we work on along US-2
- Pass-day charging problems. Long climbs over Stevens Pass show up weak alternator charging, failing batteries and loose connections. We test the whole charging path, and a Victron DC-DC charger often fixes the problem for good. See Victron systems.
- Lithium for cold and heat. East of the Cascades, winters drop below freezing and summers run hot. LiFePO4 batteries need low-temperature charge protection, and a well-ventilated install, to last. Our lithium battery buying guide covers the basics.
- Solar and dry camping. Forest Service campgrounds on the west side are shady and have no hookups. The east side has big sun. We set solar and battery up for where you actually camp.
- Connectivity gaps. Cell coverage drops out in the Skykomish valley, around the pass and in stretches of wheat country. We install Starlink, weBoost and Peplink routers that switch between them. See connectivity.
- Shore power, AC and appliances. Pedestal and converter faults, AC that can’t keep up in an eastern Washington heat wave, plus furnaces, fridges and water heaters. See RV electrical.

Seasonal notes
Stevens Pass tops out at 4,061 feet. In winter WSDOT often posts traction tire and chain requirements, and avalanche control can close the highway for a while. Check the WSDOT Stevens Pass report before you tow over. Summer is peak travel, and wildfire smoke and closures can affect routes east of the crest, so we confirm plans the day before.
While you’re on the road
- Wallace Falls State Park in Gold Bar, with a popular hike to the three-tiered falls.
- Leavenworth, the Bavarian-themed village. Its winter Village of Lights is a big draw.
- Dry Falls at Sun Lakes-Dry Falls State Park near Coulee City, a dry cataract left by Ice Age floods.
Pricing
On-site diagnostic visit: $175. Labor: $150/hr. The $175 diagnostic is a standalone fee for on-site troubleshooting. Every visit has a minimum: one hour of labor ($150) or the $175 diagnostic, depending on the job. $75 trip fee within 50 miles. Over 50 miles, $2.00/mile both ways. Parts and supplies vary per job. You’ll get a quote before any repair work starts. Flat-rate winterization is $175 for a travel trailer and $225 for a fifth wheel or motorhome. The details are on our pricing page.
Help before we get there
If you’re mid-trip and something quits, call or text first. A remote support session can often get you running, or at least safe, until we can meet you on a route day.
How a visit works on US-2
Call, text or book online with the year, make and model, what the rig is doing, where you are on US-2 and where you’re headed next. Photos or a short video help. We ask a few questions first, and if it sounds like a setting or a tripped breaker we’ll say so, or set up a remote session so you can keep moving.
If we need to meet you, we pick the route day for that section and a campground or RV park on your way. On site we test before we replace: meter readings, load tests and thermal imaging where it helps. You get a plain explanation and a quote before any repair starts. If a part has to be ordered, we tell you what and how long, and plan the follow-up around your route.
Have ready: clear access to the battery bay and the problem area; shore power if you have it; enough propane to test LP appliances; your campground and site number; and any error codes or Victron VRM screenshots.
OUR TOOL KIT
Our tool kit for US-2 travelers
Products we’d actually point a US-2 traveler toward for pass climbs, dry camping and the signal gaps across the state. Certified-brand gear first.
- Victron SmartShunt battery monitor: true state of charge, so you know what the bank has left after a night without hookups.
- Victron Orion-Tr Smart 12/12-30 DC-DC charger: DC-DC charging so the long climb over Stevens Pass actually tops up the house batteries.
- Peplink MAX BR1 Pro 5G router, installed by us: a 5G router that switches between Starlink and cellular.
- weBoost Drive Reach RV cell booster, installed by us: a booster for the Skykomish valley and wheat country dead spots.
- Camco 25-ft heated drinking water hose: a heated drinking-water hose rated to -20°F, so you can stay hooked up through a cold snap without a frozen supply line.
- Progressive Industries EMS-PT30X portable surge protector: a portable surge protector and EMS for 30-amp rigs. It cuts power on high or low voltage, an open neutral or a miswired pedestal before that takes out a converter or air conditioner. A 50-amp version is on our recommended gear page.
We don’t have a verified link we’re happy with yet for tank heaters or RV antifreeze, so pick those up locally. More picks on our recommended gear page, and parts we carry in the United Mobile RV shop.

Frequently asked questions
Can you meet me somewhere along US-2 while I’m traveling?
Often, yes. Tell us where you’re headed and when, and we’ll try to meet you at a campground or RV park on our route day for that section.
Do you cover Stevens Pass in winter?
When the road is open and safe. Pass conditions change fast, so winter calls near the summit are scheduled day by day.
Should I put lithium batteries in a rig I use east of the mountains?
Lithium works well there, as long as the batteries have low-temperature charge protection, and heating if you camp in freezing weather. We set that up as part of the install.
I lose signal crossing the state. What helps most?
Starlink covers most of the open country east of the pass. A Peplink router that can also use cellular, plus a weBoost where there’s a weak signal, fills more of the gaps.
Do you go all the way to Spokane?
Yes. The east end of the corridor overlaps our Spokane hub, so Davenport and the Spokane area are regular stops.
