The Long Beach Peninsula runs north from Ilwaco and Cape Disappointment through Seaview, Long Beach, Klipsan and Ocean Park to Oysterville, with ocean beach on one side and Willapa Bay on the other. RV parks here stay busy year-round. United Mobile RV comes to your campsite, RV park or driveway anywhere on the peninsula.
Our core work is Victron, solar and lithium, Starlink, weBoost and Peplink, plus diagnostics for 12V, shore power and appliance problems.
United Mobile RV LLC is dealership-trained with 11+ years: a Victron Energy Certified Installer, a weBoost Certified Installer/Reseller, a Dometic Professional, and a Peplink Certified Associate.

Serving the Long Beach Peninsula
We cover the whole peninsula along US-101 and SR-103: Ilwaco, Seaview, Long Beach, Klipsan, Ocean Park, Nahcotta and Oysterville, plus Chinook on the way in. The peninsula is its own route day on the Washington Coast. Westport and Ocean Shores are farther north. On-site work stays on the Washington side, not across the bridge to Astoria.

Campgrounds and RV parks on the peninsula
We’re not affiliated with any of these. They’re common peninsula stays, and we’ll meet you at your site:
- Cape Disappointment State Park near Ilwaco, which takes RVs up to 45 feet. Loops and sites can close seasonally or for maintenance, so check the State Parks notices before you go.
- Thousand Trails Long Beach in Seaview, open year-round, a short walk from the ocean.
- Andersen’s Oceanside RV Park in Long Beach, with full hookups and beach access.
What we work on on the peninsula
- Shore power dropouts. Winter storms bring outages and voltage swings. We read your system’s power history, test the transfer switch and converter or inverter/charger, and add an EMS so the next blip doesn’t cost you electronics. See our surge protector and EMS guide.
- Salt corrosion. Battery terminals, grounds, shore power plugs and solar connectors corrode fast this close to the surf. We find the bad connection behind intermittent faults. See RV electrical.
- Batteries for long stays. Seasonal and full-time rigs on the peninsula often run old lead-acid banks. We test them and upgrade to lithium with Victron charging when it makes sense. See Victron systems.
- Connectivity. Starlink works well under open coastal sky, and weBoost helps where cell signal is weak. Peplink ties them together. See connectivity.
- Appliances and diagnostics. Furnaces, fridges, water heaters, slides and water pumps, diagnosed at your site.
Seasonal notes
Summer is peak season, and the Washington State International Kite Festival in August fills the peninsula. Long Beach is one of the beaches where WDFW opens razor clam digs, which brings crowds in fall and spring. Winter is stormy and wet, and some state park sites close seasonally, so we schedule around the weather.
While you’re here
- The Long Beach Boardwalk, a half-mile boardwalk through the dunes, and the Discovery Trail, which runs along it.
- The Washington State International Kite Festival, held in Long Beach every August.
- Cape Disappointment State Park, at the mouth of the Columbia River.
Pricing
On-site diagnostic visit: $175. Labor: $150/hr. The $175 diagnostic is a standalone fee for on-site troubleshooting. Every visit has a minimum: one hour of labor ($150) or the $175 diagnostic, depending on the job. $75 trip fee within 50 miles. Over 50 miles, $2.00/mile both ways. Parts and supplies vary per job. You’ll get a quote before any repair work starts. The details are on our pricing page.
Help before we get there
The peninsula is a long drive from anywhere, so start with a remote support session if you can. We can often fix settings problems by video or through Victron VRM, and if not, we’ll arrive with the right parts.
Frequently asked questions
Do you come to Thousand Trails and Cape Disappointment?
Yes, where park rules allow. Send us your park and site number and let the office know a technician is coming.
Do you cover Astoria or the Oregon side?
Not for on-site work yet. On-site service is Washington only for now, so we stay on the peninsula. Remote help works anywhere.
My RV lost power during a storm and now some things don’t work. What should I check?
Check the breakers and GFCIs first, then call or text us. A surge or brownout can damage a converter, inverter/charger or control board, and we can test each one on site.
How often do you get down to the peninsula?
We run the peninsula as its own route day. Text us your location and we’ll tell you when we’re next down.
