Matt’s background isn’t typical for the mobile RV industry — and that’s the point. Before founding UMRT, he spent years maintaining aircraft landing gear systems at Liebherr Aerospace, where precision isn’t optional and diagnostics have to be done correctly the first time. That discipline carries over to every RV repair call.
After aerospace, Matt worked BMW and Mercedes-Benz dealership service bays — dealership-level diagnostics on complex European platforms where scan tools and proper procedure are the baseline, not the exception. He’s also worked as a trade school instructor and as a certified Control4 integrator and programmer, which means he understands how complex electrical systems are designed, installed, and made to work together correctly.
That combination — aerospace precision, dealership diagnostics, and systems integration experience — is what separates UMRT from a typical mobile tech. Matt doesn’t guess at problems. He diagnoses them. When he tells you what’s wrong, he knows what’s wrong.
